Endodontic retreatment

Endodontic retreatment (ductal) is considered for several reasons - insufficient anatomical knowledge during the initial treatment, lack of tightness of the seal, fracture of a root canal instrument.

The effects of decay should normally last very long, however sometimes the pain and symptoms of infection appear. Canal retreatment allows, in this case, retain the tooth.

This intervention is made complicated in our office with a specific technical equipment, to treat fine channels, blocked or bent. Progress in the field of endodontics can treat cases more difficult to keep the tooth. After reprocessing and sealing the root canal system, periapical infection fades and bone regenerates.
